CONCUSSION SISCUSSION, Part 1:
featuring SiSters Brandi Winans, Laurie Navon, & Tracy Roenick

Every month, Spouses in Sports hosts a SiScussion on Twitter.  In December, SiS hosted a SiScussion titled, “Concussions: their effect on families”.  Participation in the discussion was high and response was incredible, further showing us what an important issue this is for spouses in sports.  The discussion featured two wives of former NFL players, Brandi Winans (Jeff Winans) and Laurie Navon (Jim McMahon), along with NHL wife Tracy Roenick (Jeremy Roenick).  Several SiSters chimed in from the NFL, NHL and MLB, along with a former NFL player.  Below is the rough Twitter transcript from the SiScussion.  Read on to hear experiences, find resources, and learn more about how much our fellow SiSters need the SiSterhood!
